St. Patricks day

St. Patricks day centers:
Sight word rainbow- each student picked a word from the sight word pile and wrote that word in red in the top part of the rainbow. They did this for each color of the rainbow.

To continue with the rainbow theme, we made pots of gold with a paper chain made out of the rainbow colors.

To practice number recognition everyone got a blank 100 chart. I would call out numbers for each color. Hopefully at the end each student should have a rainbow and pot of gold.

We made a stick puppet of St. Patrick.

This is a worksheet to review word families.

St. Party's day craft. Could use the orange part for the hair for the girls or as a beard for the boys.

For another teen number recognition center I made shamrocks with teen numbers in them. The had to use paint dotters to along with the color code to color them. At the bottom of e paper they had to write how many shamrocks of each color there were.

This center was an all about me rainbow. Each student had to color the rainbow according to the instructions. The order is favorite color, hair color, eye color, shirt color, bedroom color, favorite toy color. Each rainbow came out very uniquely.

For out St. Patricks day snack each student was asked to bring in a green snack. Some snacks were green rice Krispy treats, mint m&ms, grapes, mint Oreos, etc...

The leprechauns came to our room when we weren't there! They left green footprints on the walls and knocked over our toys! At the end of the day they left us a pot of gold :)
