For this project I gave each student six feathers. We then worked on our addition and worked together to find out what 6+4 equals.
Each student filled in the Mr. Turkey poem and pasted it under their turkey.
You could even do this with colors and patterns and asked what kind of pattern they made for example a B pattern or a BB pattern.
